Now hiring: Regional nighttime CDL-A Hazmat drivers
An opportunity for experienced CDL-A drivers seeking consistent regional miles, paid layovers and retail auto-parts deliveries throughout Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
Required qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- Comfortable with night driving
Night driving is required. Please make sure you meet all requirements before applying.
Regional operation
Routes and miles
- Hiring within 60 miles of Thomson, GA
- Lanes to Montgomery, AL; Mobile, AL; Pensacola, FL; and parts of the Florida Panhandle
- Average 1,800–2,500 miles per week
- Average four to six stops per run
- Night dispatch between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM
- No backhauls currently
Nighttime schedules
Schedule options
- Monday–Friday nights: three layovers one week, then two layovers the next
- Rotating layovers: Monday, Wednesday and Friday in week one; Tuesday and Thursday in week two
- Saturday–Wednesday nights: Saturday and Tuesday layovers, with a local run Monday
- For the Saturday schedule, time off begins Wednesday night and runs until Saturday evening dispatch
Additional compensation
Pay items and bonuses
- Stop pay: $25 per stop
- Layover pay: $100 per layover
- $500 new-hire transition bonus paid in full on the second paycheck
- $3,000 referral bonus: $1,000 on the second paycheck, $1,000 at 60 days and $1,000 at 120 days

Equipment and freight
- 2020 Freightliner Cascadia sleeper and day cabs
- Tandem-axle trucks with automatic transmissions
- Liftgate trailers ranging from 28 to 53 feet
- Electric pallet jacks, with manual pallet jacks as backup
- Inside delivery of auto-parts freight at retail stores
- Driver unload; four to six stops per run
- Trucks governed at 65 MPH
- On-site parking
